This is the number of cyclists who have been taken to hospital since Saturday morning due to collisions with vehicles. 5 cyclists were hit on Saturday morning in a hit and run on March Road in Kanata, on Tuesday night a man was hit on Ogilvie Road and on Wednesday morning a man in Gatineua [...]

Bike-Share Pilot Project Coming to the Capital

The NCC, in collaboration with the City of Ottawa and City of Gatineau will be launching a “trial run” of the Bike Share service expected to go live in 2010. Here’s the relevant paragraph from the press release:

The Ottawa Citizen reports that a guilty plea has been entered for the charge of impaired driving causing death in the August 28th death of 17-year-old cyclist Marie-Hélène Primeau in Gatineau.
